Deshaun Watson Trade Rumors Heating Up

The Houston Texans continue to have dialogue with other teams regarding quarterback Deshaun Watson and word is the trade chatter is picking up. The Texans have reportedly decided they will accept less for Watson and their softer stance is creeping them closer to a move.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports was first to report the news. The Texans have received multiple calls but by all accounts it doesn't sound like any team has laid down a formal offer. Watson continues to have issues off the field as the quarterback is facing 22 lawsuits alleging sexual assault and inappropriate behavior. There's also a number of criminal complaints that have been filed against the Texans QB.

Look for the Miami Dolphins to in get contact with the Texans as the team placed Tua Tagovailoa on the IR over the weekend with a rib injury. The two teams have held discussions in the past and could easily pick up the chat back up. It's all going to come down to price tag and optics. Some teams have zero interest in Watson because of all the court issues and behavioral question marks. Certainly a story line to watch as we finish up the first three weeks of the season.
