This year the Super Bowl is taking over SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, right in Dr.Dre's backyard. He along with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige will perform at the half-time show for one of the most star studded spectacles in the league's history.
The Super Bowl half time show has come a long way from college marching bands and drill teams.
In fact, A-list musical talent never graced the half-time show stage until Michael Jackson performed at the Rose Bowl in 1993.
Just a reminder that if it wasn't for Michael Jackson, there would be no Superbowl Halftime Shows. https://t.co/c4ENW6OeCc pic.twitter.com/ArixC1FHbf
