Done Deal: Steelers and Chiefs Complete a Trade

The NFL's trade deadline is upon us and teams are working the phones. Turns out one deal is complete today as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs have finalized a deal that sees the Steelers shipping out Melvin Ingram back to the AFC West.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network the Steelers will be receiving a sixth-round pick back in the deal. This is a great deal for the Chiefs as they add another pass-rusher who can make a difference on defense.

Ingram is 32 years old, has played almost a decade between the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers franchise and only spent the past few months with the Steelers after signing a one-year deal back in the summer.

So far in eight games, Ingram has collected one sack and 10 tackles. Lately it's been a struggle after starting strong so perhaps this change of scenery will benefit him and the Chiefs. Kansas City ranks 29th in yards allowed and 25th in scoring by defense.
