Colts To Be Without Darius Leonard And Two Others

It hasn't been the best Christmas for the Indianapolis Colts so far, as Darius Leonard, Zach Pascal and Khari Willis have all been placed on the COVID-19 list.

This is very bad news for the Colts, as they are taking on the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday night and they aren't an easy matchup in the slightest. At this time, they have a 10-4 record and are tied for first with the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West.

The most notable of the absences is of course Leonard. He's a legitimate star on defense and with the Colts taking on such a strong opponent, they are now extremely shorthanded. Keep in mind, this is a player who now has made three straight Pro Bowls. With that, he is also a two-time First-team All-Pro and one-time Second-team All-Pro. Due to the fact that he's unvaccinated, he will be out for ten days and miss multiple games.

Although Pascal is not a star like Leonard, he is a part of Indianapolis' offense who they would rather have playing than not. In 14 games so far this campaign, he has three touchdowns to go along with 36 receptions and 369 total yards.

Willis is another loss on defense that the Colts certainly didn't need. In nine games thus far, he has two interceptions.
