Denver Broncos Fire Head Coach After 3 Seasons

The Denver Broncos have fired head coach Vic Fangio after three seasons with the club. ESPN's Adam Schefter was first to report the news.

The Broncos played on Saturday night against the Kansas City Chiefs and it appears that was the last straw. Before the game, Fangio reportedly met with general manager George Paton to make his case to stay with the franchise but obviously the convincing didn't quite work out in Fangio's favor.

The Broncos have been all over the place of late as the team traded away Von Miller and they are still looking for a franchise quarterback. Now they can add a new bench boss to the mix.

Expect to see Fangio move on immediately to another team as he certainly won't be out of work long. The defensive genius should have no trouble landing on somewhere as a defensive coordinator as he's held the DC title with the likes of the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers. Fangio's going to need another sticker for his suitcase.
