Washington Football Team To Unveil New Name Soon

The long wait will soon be over. The Washington Football Team has announced that it will unveil its new name and logo on February 2nd.

Team president Jason Wright noted that two potential options are officially off the table. The Washington Football Team will not change their name to the RedWolves or Wolves. These were favorites to many fans, but alas, the team has opted to go in a different direction due to other sports franchises possessing similar names.

It's been over a year since Dan Snyder announced that The Washington Football Team would rid of its former name. Now, as we inch closer to the completion of this saga, it will be intriguing to see what the organization has come up with. They also are not the first team to switch their name recently, as MLB's Cleveland Guardians just received their new name, too.
