NFL Rumors: Adrian Peterson Arrested at LAX

Free-agent running back and NFL legend Adrian Peterson was arrested on Sunday morning at the Los Angeles International Airport. He was booked for felony domestic violence, this according to TMZ sports.

It all started before a flight in Houston when Peterson and his wife Ashley Brown reportedly got into a verbal and physical altercation on an aircraft before boarding. The veteran running back was taken into custody by local authorities meanwhile Brown was able to remain on the plane with the rest of the passengers.

It didn't take long for the couple to get a statement out and had this to say:

Earlier today, Adrian and his wife Ashley had a verbal argument on a flight, and he was removed from the plane. This is a private misunderstanding between husband and wife, and we anticipate it will all be resolved shortly.

Last season saw Peterson try to revive his career with the Tennessee Titans and the Seattle Seahawks, but was unable to perform well enough to secure a job in 2022. With the latest news and his numbers of late, expect this to be all she wrote for Peterson in the NFL.
