Browns And Texans Complete Blockbuster

The Houston Texans are set to trade Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns for three first-round picks, a third-round pick, and potentially a fifth-round pick, according to Adam Schefter.

Houston has been actively shopping Watson, and the Browns are now the official winners of the sweepstakes. He will be their starting quarterback for the 2022 season. This, in turn, will inevitably lead to Baker Mayfield being dealt from the team.

Watson missed all of last season due to several sexual misconduct charges. He was not charged on nine criminal counts earlier this week, and that, in turn, helped interest in him skyrocket around the league.

In 54 career games with the Texans, Watson threw 104 touchdowns, 36 interceptions, and 14,539 yards. With that, he also was named to three Pro Bowls and led the league in passing yards in 2020. Now, he will be aiming to build on these numbers with the Browns.
