NFL Rumors: Jets Looking To Upgade At Specific Position

According to Connor Hughes of The Athletic, the New York Jets are looking to upgrade at the wide receiver position.

Hughes noted that the Jets are open to solving this issue by both the draft and trade. Therefore, it's apparent that they are keeping their options open as they attempt to fix this weakness on their current roster.

The Jets already showed that they are serious about finding a new wide receiver, as they were inches away from landing Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this month. However, the Miami Dolphins were the lucky winners of the sweepstakes after they outbid them. Although that certainly stings, the Jets have plenty of time to upgrade the position with somebody else from here.

With the Jets aiming to be more competitive in 2022, it makes sense that getting a new WR is a major objective on their to-do list. We will have to wait and see what they end up doing during this already-eventful offseason.
