Patriots Bring Back Super Bowl Hero

The New England Patriots have brought back an old friend, as they have signed Malcolm Butler to a two-year, $9 million contract.

Butler is remembered most for his last-minute goal-line interception against the Seattle Seahawks in 2015. This, in turn, would cement the Patriots' Super Bowl win. Thus, he is often remembered as being a Super Bowl hero for the franchise.

Butler announced his retirement before last season due to personal reasons. However, there were rumblings that he was eyeing a comeback and now we have confirmation with this signing.

Butler brings upon a pretty solid resume, as he is a two-time Super Bowl winner, one-time Second-team All-Pro, and one-time Pro Bowler. Now, he's heading back to the team he's remembered most playing for in New England.
