Browns Re-Sign Defensive Tackle

The Cleveland Browns are staying busy, as they have now re-signed Sheldon Day.

Day just completed his first season with the Browns in 2021. He appeared in seven games with the team, where he had a career-high combined 21 tackles and 1.0 sacks. With this, it is easy to understand why they have opted to give the defensive tackle another chance in their lineup.

It will be interesting to see how much Day is utilized in 2022. He showed last season that he can be a pretty effective player, so perhaps he will hold a bigger role this time around. Yet, even if he is solely being brought back for added depth, it is still has the potential to benefit the Browns.
