Minnesota Vikings Sign Guard
The Minnesota Vikings have signed Chris Reed to two-year contract.
With the Indianapolis Colts losing Mark Glowinski to the New York Giants via free agency, it seemed that Reed would take over his starting position. Yet, Reed has now of course opted to sign with Minnesota, so the Colts will have to make a move elsewhere.
Throughout his career, Reed has primarily been a backup option. Yet, with Minnesota giving him this multi-year deal, it seems probable that they have confidence in him having a notable role with them. Yet, he also has a decent amount of NFL experience under his belt, as he has appeared in 61 career games between the Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, and Colts.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how much the Vikings utilize Reed from here.
