NFL Rumors: New York Jets Closing In On Blockbuster Trade

After swinging and missing on acquiring superstar wide out Tyreek Hill, the New York Jets are not done trying to find some more talent for next season. Reports are flying out suggesting the Jets have been in contact with several different teams and are looking to trade for a number one wide receiver.

According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, the Jets have been involved in discussions for the likes of DK Metcalf, Brandin Cooks and A.J Brown. While the Jets have been active calling each of the three teams trying to bribe them with massive offers, to this point the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans have yet to make any available on the trade market.

It's no secret the Jets are trying to turn the corner on their franchise and get back to being taken seriously after year after year of losing seasons. They swung and missed on Hill and while they have been rumored to make massive offers for the three receivers mentioned, the team was also recently linked to Calvin Ridley before he was suspended. Seems as though the entire NFL knows the Jets intentions which will not work in their favor when it comes to negotiations.

Keep an eye on the Jets as they will continue to scroll the trade market with deep pockets. Expect to see them pull off a mega-deal before the start of next season and it's likely to all go down at the NFL draft.
