NFL Rumors: Rams Interested In Star Cornerback

According to The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue, the Los Angeles Rams have been having discussions with free-agent cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

With the Rams being reigning Super Bowl champions, it is easy to understand why they want to bring in a player like Gilmore. He has appeared in five Pro Bowls over his career and is also a two-time All-Pro. With that, he isn't showing signs of slowing down, so he would certainly give them another elite player if signed.

Gilmore was limited to nine games this past season but still played well in the process. During them, he had two interceptions to go along with 16 tackles. If he stays healthy in 2022, he should be able to build on those totals significantly.

Nevertheless, this is something to keep an eye on as the offseason continues to progress.
