NFL Rumors: Titans To Keep Star Wide Receiver Around

Contract discussions between the Tennessee Titans and A.J. Brown haven't been the best. This is because Brown feels that the team's offers haven't been acceptable. Although things haven't been the best on that front, general manager Jon Robinson has zero plans to trade the star receiver.

It's easy to understand why the Titans are not considering the idea of trading Brown. He has been excellent during his first three seasons in the league and still has a lot of time left in his prime. In 43 career games with the club, he has five touchdowns, 63 receptions, and 869 yards. With that, he made the Pro Bowl in 2020 and will inevitably do so again.

Teams looking for a new wide receiver will certainly be disappointed to hear Robinson's words. However, at the end of the day, it makes sense that the team is more focused on getting an extension done. It will be interesting to see if they can start making progress soon. If not, things could get messy.
