San Francisco 49ers Sign WR

The San Francisco 49ers have added to their wide receiver depth, as they have signed Malik Turner to a one-year contract.

Turner just spent the 2021 season as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. In 14 games with the team, he had a career-high three touchdowns, 12 receptions, and 149 yards. It was the best season that the 26-year-old has had over his four-year NFL career, so it will be intriguing to see if he can carry that momentum over to the 49ers.

In 41 career games between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys, Turner has four touchdowns, 29 receptions, and 414 yards. Overall, he seems like a player who could be on the verge of breaking out, so let's see how much these stats change after the 2022 season.

Nevertheless, this is a good low-risk move by the 49ers. At a minimum, they have added to their depth.
