NFL Rumors: 49ers Interested In Patriots WR

According to FOX Sports, the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots had trade talks regarding Nelson Agholor during the NFL Draft.

Agholor just completed his first season with the Patriots in 2021. In 15 games, he recorded three touchdowns, 37 receptions, and 473 yards. Overall, he had some decent moments with New England, but with this development, it seems that the Pats are open to the idea of moving him.

The Patriots have been one of the many teams linked to Deebo Samuel, so perhaps we could have a blockbuster on the way. It would take more than Agholor for the Patriots to land Samuel, of course, but maybe something is brewing. If not, we know for a fact that the 49ers view Agholor as a potential option for them in 2022.
