Jets Sign Five-Time Pro-Bowl Offensive Tackle

The New York Jets have found their replacement for offensive tackle Mekhi Becton.

The Jets are signing five-time Pro-Bowl offensive tackle Duane Brown, according to Adam Schefter.

The deal is a two-year contract, announced just days after the Jets lost OT Becton for the season because of a knee injury suffered in practice.

Brown turns 37 later this month and is a former first-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2008.

Brown has played left tackle his entire career (203 starts). His position with the Jets has not yet been determined, however, and will be discussed upon his arrival.
