This is so unfortunate to hear, as Williams is a young player who was looking to cement himself a bigger role with the Patriots this year. Yet, instead, his 2022 season is now over before it even started.

In 36 career games over three seasons with the Patriots, he has recorded 44 combined tackles and has yet to get his first interception. Here's to hoping that he can recover without any problems and be good to go once the 2023 campaign rolls around.
