New Orleans Saints Release Tight End

The New Orleans Saints have released Chris Herndon from their roster.

Herndon signed with the Saints this offseason and was hoping to cement himself a big role on their roster. Unfortunately for him, that will now not be coming to fruition, and the former first-round pick will be looking for a new home elsewhere.

In 49 career games over four NFL seasons, Herndon has recorded eight touchdowns, 75 receptions, and 836 yards.
