New York Jets Right Tackle Out Significant Portion Of Season

According to Connor Hughes, Mekhi Becton is expected to miss a "significant portion of the season" due to a knee cap and patella injury.

This is certainly awful news to hear for Becton, as the former first-round pick just missed all but one game last season due to MCL damage. Now, the injury bug just won't leave the 6-foot-7, 363-pound tackle alone.

Becton was heading into this season ready to make a big impact for the Jets, but this development will put that on pause at a minimum. Here's to hoping that he can recover from these injuries quickly and put together a strong campaign.
