NFL Rumors: Chicago Bears Linked To Cornerback

According to Aaron Wilson, free-agent cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III worked out for the Chicago Bears. With this, he is clearly on their radar and could potentially ink a deal with the team if he impressed them.

Hargreaves III spent this past season split between the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans. In 12 games on the year, he recorded an interception and 32 combined tackles. Overall, it wasn't too bad of a season for the veteran, but he still remains without an NFL home.

It will be intriguing to see if the Bears end up signing Hargreaves III shortly.
