Pittsburgh Steelers Star Confirms He's Been Dealing With Injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers got several injury frights in the teams pre-season finale, with both Diontae Johnson and TJ Watt leaving the field, but thankfully for Pittsburgh, both are expected to be fine. Another star that's been dealing with injury who is going to be fine by the regular season is second year star running back Najee Harris, who has recently revealed that he's been dealing with a Lisfranc sprain, which is more than originally thought.

He sustained the injury early in camp, and no one knew of the severity, as the sprain was meant to keep him out for 4-6 weeks, and after just passing the fourth week and suiting up for the teams pre-season finale, it appears that when the sixth week passes and the Steelers open their season against the Bengals, No. 22 will be fine. Every win is going to matter in a tough AFC North and a tough AFC in 2022, and if Pittsburgh have any hopes on winning the division crown, they'll need all hands on deck, especially if rookie QB Kenny Pickett ends up winning the tough QB battle with Mitch Trubisky.

Either way, this news comes as a shock to some who believes Harris just got stepped on and was dealing with a minor foot sprain, but over the next two weeks, he'll sharpen up before the season begins, and given how he looked on the field once more, it's safe to say that year two for Najee could be a very dangerous prospect for opposing teams.
