San Francisco 49ers Safety To Miss Time

According to Nick Wagoner, San Francisco 49ers safety Jimmie Ward has suffered a hamstring injury, and his availability for Week 1 is now in jeopardy.

At a minimum, we are not going to see Ward for the entirety of the preseason with this development. With the 49ers having aspirations of having a big 2022 season, there are certainly hoping that Ward does not have to miss any regular season time.

Ward has been a mainstay in San Fran's lineup over his eight-year NFL career. In 94 career games, he has recorded 401 combined tackles, four interceptions, and 3.0 sacks.
