Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Play Starters in Preseason Finale

NFL fans will get their first look at a well-rested Tom Brady this preseason on Saturday. Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles told reporters Thursday afternoon that all healthy players will play in this week's regular-season tune-up against the Indianapolis Colts.
Brady returned to practice this past week following a mysterious absence, so it should be interesting to see where his readiness is. Bowles also shared that rookie Luke Goedeke would be starting at left guard, bringing some clarity to an offensive line that has seen an abundance of turmoil this offseason. The game could also provide our first look at a Brady/Julio Jones connection. The wide receiver has yet to see the field in preseason action since joining the team in July, despite reports of dominant play in practice.

The Buccaneers have a chance to be one of the league's premier offenses this season after finishing second in scoring last year, but given the team has experienced since January's Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams, it remains to be seen if they can maintain their torrid pace. Saturday's contest could go a long way in generating excitement for the Bucs' crucial season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
