Bills Rule Out Another Starter For Week 3

The Buffalo Bills have had a near perfect start to the 2022 season, with dominant wins over The Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans, but as they approach division rivals, the also 2-0 Miami Dolphins, it appears that they'll be severely understrength. The Bills have already had to rule out Micah Hyde and Jordan Phillips for the game, and now, defensive tackle Ed Oliver joins them on the sideline.

The big man was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and has been a key member of the Bills defensive unit ever since, racking up 119 tackles, 12 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 8 passes deflected over that time, and he'll be sorely missed. The Bills have build up such depth on the defensive side of the ball that they may be able to withstand the loss, but this is a Miami team that put up almost 500 yards through the air a week ago, so they'll need to be at their best to slow the Dolphins down.

The Bills remain one of, if not the deepest and most talented team in the NFL, so if anyone can withstand injuries, it's them, but with a red-hot, healthy Miami squad on the way, this could be one of the best games of the year, and could be key in the AFC East division matchup come seasons end.
