Buffalo Bills Safety Helped Off Field Following Injury

It hasn't all been good news for the Buffalo Bills in their Monday Night Football demolition of the Tennessee Titans. Following a frightening hospitalization of cornerback Dane Jackson, it appears safety Micah Hyde is also injured:

Hyde was down on the field for a significant amount of time. He eventually made it to his feet and was escorted off the field by the Bills' training staff. He was then carted to the locker room.

Hyde has been an iron man since entering the league as a Green Bay Packer in 2013, appearing in an incredible 143 out of a possible 146 games. Despite his longevity, he may have had his best year in 2021 with the Bills, earning second-team All-Pro honors and tieing a career-high with five interceptions for last year's top-ranked scoring defense. Should he miss time, Jaquan Johnson and Damar Hamlin will likely see increased snaps in the defensive backfield.
