Eagles Officially Put Tackle On Injured Reserve

The Philadelphia Eagles have put together one of the most complete and deepest rosters in the NFL ahead of the 2022 season, and unfortunately, before it even began, they lost tackle Andre Dillard after he suffered a forearm injury in practice. Fortunately for the Eagles, the injury isn't considered serious, but today, the team placed Dillar on Injured Reserve, with the hope that he returns in 4-6 weeks, which would give a massive boost to one of the most talented teams in the entire league.

With Jalen Hurts pairing up with AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and a solid defensive unit, this team could certainly be a Super Bowl contender, as they are certainly favourites to take out the NFC East division crown, but if that's their overall goal, Dillard will need to return and be fully healthy for a final stretch heading into the playoffs.

The first round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft has struggled to stay healthy thus far, as he's only started 9 out of the 31 games he's appeared in at the NFL level, but he's got plenty of talent, and when healthy, completes a fantastic Eagles line that also includes veteran star Jason Kelce and potential breakout candidate at left tackle, Jordan Maliata.
