Falcons Wide Receiver Will Be Game-Time Decision

Drake London was the No. 8 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and with the Falcons looking to climb out of the bottom of the NFC South, he's going to have to play a huge role in 2022 if they are to have a bright, optimistic look on the future. The team also drafted Desmond Ridder, who could be the starting Quarterback of the future for the Falcons, but either way, 2022 will be a key year for the rookies on this team to establish the future of the franchise.

Unfortunately, London could potentially miss the beginning of his rookie campaign, as he's been off dealing with a knee injury sustained in the teams pre-season opener against Detroit, and in the latest update, it seems as though the former USC standout will be a game-time decision for Sunday.

The Falcons rookie has reportedly looked very good thus far in his NFL career throughout practice and training camp, and while many expect him to play in Week 1, it won't be announced until Sunday. Given the Falcons lack of weapons outside of Kyle Pitts and the hit-or-miss Corderelle Patterson, if this team has any hope of beating their division rival the Saints, London will need to be there and contribute from his very first snap at the NFL level.
