Four Packers Receivers Miss Thursday Practice

Much was made this off-season about the lack of weapons surrounding Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers after the team traded away Davante Adams, and after a big win in Week 2, they could face those same issues again in Week 3. Unfortunately for Green Bay, just days away from their Week 3 matchup in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers, the Packers top four receivers all missed practice, which isn't a good sign at all.

Allan Lazard, Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson and Randall Cobb all sat out practice for different reasons, and if they are unable to go, it leaves Romeo Doubs and Amari Rodgers as the Packers top two receivers, a scary thought indeed as they head to Tampa.

It's not clear yet whether any or all of these names are in danger of missing Week 3, but for chemistry with their Quarterback, this is the worst possible thing, short of an Aaron Rodgers injury for Green Bay. With the exception of Cobb, all these receivers practiced yesterday, so we will wait for a Packers update, but if they are left with Doubs and Amari Rodgers as their top targets on Sunday, it's hard to imagine just how frustrated No. 12 will become.
