Giants Receiver Ruled Out For Second Straight Game

The New York Giants thought they had drafted their future No. 1 wide receiver when they took Kadarius Toney, and while he no doubt has the talent to be a superstar at the NFL level, the injury concerns surrounding him have to be alarming at this point in time. In just over a year at the NFL level, Toney has struggled to stay healthy at all, and for a second straight game, he's going to be ruled out, and after appearing in just 10 games in his rookie year, this isn't a trend that New York will be happy about seeing.

With the injury to Sterling Shepherd and the drama surrounding Kenny Golloday, the Giants are in danger of ruining a very promising 2-1 start to their 2022 campaign, and with Wan'Dale Robinson also out, the Giants are down to the bare minimum at wide receiver.

The big news here though is Toney, who caught 39 balls for 420 yards with 0 Touchdown's in Year 1, and after all the promise he's shown, it has to be disappointing for Giants fans. There's still plenty of time to turn it around, but with the question marks surrounding Golloday and Daniel Jones, this team needs Toney healthy if they are to know what they've got for the future of this offence.
