New York Giants Provide Update On Tyrod Taylor

During Sunday's preseason tilt against the New York Jets, New York Giants QB Tyrod Taylor was carted off the field. Thankfully, the update on his condition isn't as bad as it could have been, as head coach Brian Daboll noted that Tyrod's back injury is not serious.

With this news, it seems very likely that Tyrod should be able to return as the team's backup QB in the near future. Perhaps he could even force his way into a starting role if he impresses and Daniel Jones continues to be inconsistent.

In 78 career games, Tyrod has thrown 59 touchdowns and 10,736 yards.
