Ravens Tackle Declared Out For Week 3

Despite the injury toll, the Baltimore Ravens have started the season 1-1 with two solid performances, and with running back J.K. Dobbins nearing a return, plus the addition of Jason Pierre-Paul, things are looking up, but unfortunately, their star tackle Ronnie Stanley will be out another week.

His absence has been felt along the Ravens offensive line, but with such a star at Quarterback with the ability like no other to use his feet, they've been able to avoid any serious damage, but after a while, all that pressure will begin to wear on Lamar Jackson. Stanley will likely be able to avoid the Injured Reserve list, but as of right now, there's no indication he'll be back in Week 4 either, as he won't be travelling with the team to New England for the upcoming battle with the Patriots.

The Ravens drafted Stanley No. 6 overall back in 2016, and he's started all 63 games he's played in ever since, but his best year came in 2019, when he was selected to both the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro team. He's struggled to stay healthy at points over his career, and in 2022, the Ravens desperately need him to get healthy if they wish to make a run at the AFC North title, and when he does get healthy, along with Dobbins, this team could become consistently one of the best teams in the AFC.
