49ers Wide Receiver Considered Day-To-Day

Despite sitting at 3-4 on the season, the San Francisco 49ers are just a game out of first place in the NFC West, and with their new running back and other All-Pro stars returning from injury, this is a team that's poised to break out in the second half of the 2022 NFL season. The offence hasn't been at its explosive best in recent times, but wide receiver Deebo Samuel has still been contributing to this team in many different ways, racking up over 500 all purpose yards to go along with 2 Touchdowns on the season, but now, it appears the young star has picked up an injury.

Today, it was revealed that the star receiver, who is used effectively in so many ways by this 49ers franchise, is dealing with a hamstring injury, and while it's no considered serious by the team, he will be looked at as day-to-day going forward. The 49ers battle the Rams in a key divisional showdown in Week 8, and will then be on the bye, so even if Samuel misses a week with injury, he will have an extra week to heal up his hamstring, which can be a very dangerous injury.

The 49ers have the talent to finally take the next step in 2022, but getting healthy is the key, and if they can enter the playoffs with a healthy Deebo, Kittle and McCaffrey, as well as this potential elite defence, the NFC better watch out for San Francisco.
