Another Key Buccaneers Player Ruled Out

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a very strange season thus far, as they've struggled to put together any consistency even with Tom Brady coming back, and tonight, they will match up against the 4-3 Baltimore Ravens to get back to .500 on the season, but they'll do so without plenty of players. Yesterday, the team announced that six players, including Cameron Brate, Antoine Winfield Jr. and others would all miss the crucial Thursday Night clash, and today, they've had to add to that list in the form of defensive tackle Akiem Hicks.

Both sides of the ball were dreadful in Week 7, as the team was absolutely dominated by backup Quarterback P.J. Walker and the Carolina Panthers, and now, with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens coming to town, they'll need to win in order to keep pace in an NFC South division that features no current teams with a winning record.

Throughout his career, which is in its first year with Tampa Bay, Hicks has accumulated 40.5 sacks, 9 passes defended, 6 forced fumbles, 6 fumble recoveries and a defensive Touchdown, and if this team is to turn it around, he'll play a key role along the defensive line, but unfortunately, he won't be available for a Week 8 matchup with massive implications.
