Bengals Top Saints in Thrilling Shootout

The Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints traded scores all Sunday afternoon in a Week 6 thriller. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase added to their Louisiana legend with a 30-26 victory, bringing their team their third win of the season with nine fourth-quarter points and reigniting hopes for a contending season. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints fall to 2-4.
Arguably the two best players on LSU's unforgettable NCAA championship-winning 2019 squad, Burrow and Chase dominated in their first game back in Lousiana. Burrow threw for 273 net yards and three touchdowns, and Chase exploded for 132 yards and two touchdowns, including the 60-yard game-winner.

Saints quarterback Andy Dalton entered today's game with rumors swirling that a solid performance could earn him a permanent starting gig, but he did nothing to assure the job today. The former Bengal netted only 155 yards through the air. A dominant run game kept the Saints in the game: Alvin Kamara and company combined for 228 yards on 34 attempts.

The Bengals can look forward to a home game against the surprisingly feisty Atlanta Falcons in Week 7, while the Saints will travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.
