Bills To Activate Star Cornerback This Week

The Buffalo Bills have been cruising through the 2022 season thus far, with a 6-1 record to lead the entire AFC, and have done so despite missing several key players to injury throughout the year, and now, one of those players will officially return to practice ahead of a Week 9 clash with the AFC East division rival New York Jets. Today, Buffalo announced that star cornerback Tre'Davious White will be activated to the 53-man roster on Wednesday, and while he won't have an official game status for Sunday yet, there's a chance he can make his 2022 season debut.

White has been an All-Pro twice in his career, and with the Bills already missing an All-Pro safety for the season, his return will be a very welcome sight for this team, who have already been fantastic on both sides of the ball even without him. White's best career years came in 2019 and 2020, where he combined for 2.5 sacks and 9 interceptions, and now, he's coming back to help the Bills achieve their lofty expectations in 2022, which is winning the Lombardi Trophy.

We will get updates throughout the week on how close White is to a return, but with a big divisional matchup against the Jets coming up, there's a very good chance that he will try and push through, and make his season debut in Week 9 against a very good New York Jets team.
