Broncos QB Trending Towards Playing In Week 8

The Denver Broncos season continued in it's downward fall in Week 7, as the team was defeated by the New York Jets at home, and with a Week 8 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, it appears that their entire season is on the line. Starting Quarterback Russell Wilson has certainly not lived up to any expectations at all thus far in 2022, and after being sat down to deal with a hamstring injury for Brett Rypien in Week 7, it appears that he's doing everything in his power to return in Week 8.

According to reports, Wilson stretched for 4 out of the 8 hours on the flight to London, and despite being limited in the teams first practice across the pond, Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett said he is trending towards playing in the must-win Week 8 clash. We've all seen the talent that Russ possesses, but in 2022, he just hasn't looked like himself, and with all of the stuff off the field occurring, he's become the butt of many jokes around the league.

Still, this is arguably the best defence in the entire NFL, and with weapons on the outside, there's a chance this team can turn it around, so while it doesn't look good for Denver right now, if Wilson can return in Week 8 and get back to his old form and get the Broncos a win, this team may have a good chance to mark a late run to an AFC Wild Card spot.
