Cardinals Running Back Out In Week 8

The Arizona Cardinals picked up a big win last Thursday Night over the New Orleans Saints, and while there were plenty of contributors, one name that stepped up was Eno Benjamin, who played a massive role  in the absence of James Conner, racking up over 110 all purpose yards to go along with a Touchdown, and he'll need to be at his best again in Week 8, as Arizona have officially ruled out Conner once again.

The veteran running back is dealing with a rib injury, and for a position like running back that requires being hit, and hit hard so often, it makes sense for them to sit him, but if the team want to recover their season, they'll need to come up big against an NFC North leading 5-1 Minnesota Vikings.

Conner has put together a solid season, but hasn't played since October 9th against the Eagles when he suffered the injury, and with all the injuries this team has endured, they've played rather well throughout it. The team sit in last place in the NFC West with a 3-4 record, but a win over Minnesota could have them potentially in first place at the end of Week 8, and if they are to do that, Benjamin will need to step up in Conner's absence, and while it's not confirmed, there's a good chance that Conner could be back in the coming weeks.
