Colts Star Running Back A Chance To Play On Thursday

The Indianapolis Colts suffered their second loss of the 2022 season against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and with a tie on their record as well, if they want to make some noise in the AFC South, they need to start winning big games like that as soon as they can. Unfortunately, Shaquille Leonard, the team's All-Pro linebacker has been ruled out of their Thursday Night clash with the Denver Broncos, and after the injury suffered by Jonathan Taylor, there's a chance that he misses the crucial battle too.

Taylor's scans on Monday came back negative, which is good news for the future of this team, but in the immediate future, it's very tough to say whether or not the 2021 rushing leader will be active, as the team looks to get back to 2-2-1.

With Leonard out and the Colts struggling for the most part in 2022, they'll need Taylor to be active if they're to take down the very tough Denver Broncos, even though Taylor himself has been a major disappointment. With Matt Ryan at the helm, many expected Indianapolis to take the next step, but thus far, it's been Tennessee and Jacksonville who've come out firing in 2022, and if Taylor and the Colts can't get rolling in Week 5, it's tough to see them making a huge run this season.
