Commanders QB Listed As Limited In Practice With Shoulder Injury

The Washington Commanders seem to be the only NFC East team struggling in 2022, as their 1-4 record has them fallen way behind the pack, who have a combined record of 13-2, and while the talent seems to be there, they just can't put it all together. When asked about the struggles, head coach Ron Rivera seemed to point the finger in the direction of the Quarterback play, and while Carson Wentz hasn't been carrying this team to success, he's been nowhere near as bad as some have expressed.

Today however, the team announced that Wentz was limited in practice with a right shoulder injury, and if there is any significance to the injury, there's a chance that some fans may get their wish in Week 6, with a potential Taylor Heinicke start, but that's a bit premature.

The injury doesn't seem to be a bad one, and being held out of being a full participant in Tuesday practice was likely just a precaution, but at this point, it looks like the former Eagles and Colts starter is in a very tough position with his new team. We will see updates as the week rolls on, but for now, we will be keeping an eye on Wentz and his health as the Commanders continue to struggle on the field.
