Falcons Tight End Out for Week 5

The Atlanta Falcons will be down their second-year tight end for their Week 5 clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Falcons have announced that tight end Kyle Pitts will not play in Week 5.
Pitts has missed three consecutive practices due to a hamstring injury, and the question now is whether he will be able to recover in time to be ready for Week 6's matchup vs the San Francisco 49ers.

Through four games, Pitts has just 10 receptions for 150 yards on 22 targets.

Parker Hesse and Anthony Firkser could see an increase in pass routes and targets with Pitts sidelined. Rookie receiver Drake London should also see an uptick in his targets.

The Falcons (2-2) take on the Buccaneers (2-2) on Sunday at 1 PM ET.
