Jets Win Third Straight Rookie Of The Week

The New York Jets are one of the surprise teams in the NFL in 2022, and while some may see them as a flash in the pan with a few talented young guys, the way they've been getting it done en route to a 4-2 record is very sustainable. In Week 6, they dominated Green Bay with a great performance from the defence and a great run game, led by Breece Hall, and while they may not continue to win games at this pace, they have certainly proven themselves as a good team.

Most of that comes from their rookies, namely Hall, Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson, who have all won the Pepsi Rookie of the Week award at one point or another in 2022, and just six weeks into the season, Hall taking it home after the win over Green Bay marks the fourth time this team has held the belt. It also marks three straight weeks, with Hall winning it during the teams comeback win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, followed by a Gardner special in Week 5, and now Hall again, and with plenty of talented rookies, it may not be the last time this happens.

Despite the drama that came out today, this team is full of young talent and chemistry, and if they can keep playing the way they have been with a chip on their shoulder under Head Coach Robert Saleh, there's no reason why this team can't make a genuine playoff run in 2022.
