Legendary Free Agent Wide Receiver To Visit Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have been playing some good football thus far in 2022, but for whatever reason, they've been unable to finish big games off, and it's led to their 3-3 record, which is good enough for a share of first place in the AFC North. Their lack of weapons on the outside is severely hurting them, and with Rashod Bateman due back soon, they'll get a bit of relief, but they need more.

Robbie Anderson was traded earlier today to Arizona, which takes one potential piece away, but over the coming week, the team will be hosting DeSean Jackson on a visit, and while he's no longer the player he once was, at 35-years of age, Jackson can still no doubt be a good deep ball threat for Lamar Jackson and this offence. The star receiver was best known for his time in Philadelphia, but in 2021 with the Rams and Raiders, Jackson still managed to put up over 400 yards receiving and 2 Touchdowns, and if the Ravens could get anything close to that production, they'd be thrilled with the move.

It's just a visit so far, but Jackson has been vocal about wanting to continue his NFL career in recent weeks, and with speed still in those legs, combining him with Lamar Jackson and at least giving opposing defence's something else to think about would be a major boost for both parties.
