Lions Running Back Taken Off Injury Report, Expected To Play In Week 8

The Detroit Lions were one of, if not the most exciting team in the NFL for the first few weeks of the season, and while they weren't able to get the win each and every week, with their exciting, explosive offence, they were good enough to put up amazing numbers and be competitive. Over the last few weeks, they've unfortunately fallen off, and while some of that is due to natural fall off from such ridiculous numbers, it also has to do with the injuries, namely to Amon-Ra St. Brown and D'Andre Swift, who've both missed multiple games.

St. Brown returned a week ago, only to be injured again, and remains questionable for Week 8, but Swift on the other hand is now off the injury report, meaning he will be ready to suit up and play as Detroit take on the Miami Dolphins at home. Through three games, Swift has over 100 all purpose yards per game to go along with 2 Touchdown's, and while Jamaal Williams is a great backup in a 1-2 combo, Swift has star power, and if he can be back to himself, the Lions have a chance to win some games in the second half of the 2022 season.

Only time will tell if Swift can be at 100% for the next few weeks upon returning, but if he can get close to how he was to begin the season, this could be a very good Detroit Lions team going forward.
