New York Giants Work Out Former Star Wide Receiver

The New York Giants are off to a hot start in 2022, with a 3-1 record for a share of second place in the NFC East, behind the unstoppable Philadelphia Eagles, but with injuries to both of their top two Quarterbacks suffered in Week 4, the offence may take a hit in the coming weeks. The team has also lost Sterling Shepherd for the season, could be without Kenny Golloday and has injury concerns over former first-round pick Kadarius Toney, so it makes sense that the team would look to bring in more skill position talent to keep up their playoff push.

One name that makes complete sense is former first-round pick and superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who visited with the Giants on Monday, ahead of a potential re-union with his old team. After winning the Super Bowl with the Rams a year ago, Beckham, who tore his ACL in the big game, hasn't been able to find a home, even with both Los Angeles and Super Bowl favourites Buffalo clearly courting him.

Sure, the Giants can't give him the QB play or the potential for a Super Bowl run like those other teams, but they're a familiar home for the star receiver, and if he wants to repay the franchise he started his NFL career with, this is a move that could potentially happen going forward.
