NFL 3 Stars For Week 7: Quarterback

Week 7 of the NFL season was yet another interesting one, with upsets everywhere, amazing performances on both sides of the ball, but for the Quarterback position, it was clear that the defence's came out on top this week, despite some big numbers. Some teams are getting big performances week in, week out from their QB, while others need to grind, but we still had our standout performers at the position in Week 7, and here are the three that stood out most.

3. Daniel Jones

Stat line: 19/30, 202 yards, 1 Touchdown, 0 Interceptions, 11 carries, 107 Yards, 1 Touchdown.

The New York Giants are off to a fantastic 6-1 start in 2022, and even without elite talent at every position, they've managed to do just enough each and every week to come away with the victory, even if it means grinding all the way through the fourth quarter. Giants fans may not yet be sold on Daniel Jones, but he's doing enough to win, and after protecting the ball well and using both his arm and his legs in Week 7, he definitely deserves a spot on this list.

2. Patrick Mahomes

Stat line: 25/43, 434 yards, 3 Touchdowns, 1 Interception.

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking back to their best form in recent weeks, and if Patrick Mahomes can continue to get all of his offensive weapons involved, this will be an AFC favourite for the Super Bowl once more in 2022. Mahomes was once again brilliant against a very good 49ers team, and for a team to knock him down, they'll need to be at their absolute A game once the playoffs begin, especially if this team can continue to run the ball effectively.

1. Joe Burrow

Stat line: 34/42, 481 Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 0 Interceptions, 3 Carries, 20 Yards, 1 Touchdown.

The Cincinnati Bengals got off to a slow start in 2022, but in previous weeks, the offence has begun clicking, and that was on full show in a dominant win over Atlanta in Week 7, which was a complete decimation in the first half. With star performances from Tyler Boyd and Ja'Marr Chase, this offence can look unstoppable at times, and after their playoff experience a year ago, this is a team that's ready to go one step further in 2022.
