NFL Rumors: Dolphins Expected To Move Tight End At Deadline

The Miami Dolphins season has been a tale of two halves so far, as they began the year with a 3-0 record, before slumping to 3-3 in the absence of Tua Tagovailoa, and now, it appears that one of their key weapons on the offensive side of the ball could be on the move in the coming weeks. There were rumours throughout the pre-season that new Head Coach Mike McDaniel could potentially want to move on from tight end Mike Gesicki, and now, those whispers grow louder ahead of the 2022 NFL trade deadline.

Now, it seems as though the Dolphins are going to try their hardest to trade Gesicki at the deadline, despite the solid production in 2022, where he's put up 15 catches for 170 yards and 3 Touchdown's. At this point, it looks like McDaniel and go are searching for a more 'traditional' tight end, as they have more than enough talent on the outside with Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill to help out young QB Tagovailoa.

Miami finally feel like they have a team that can compete in a very crowded AFC, but for whatever reason, they feel Gesicki isn't the tight end to help them achieve their end goals, so expect to see several teams in the mix for him in the coming weeks.
