NFL Rumors: Rams Interested In Trading For Browns Running Back

The Los Angeles Rams have been off to a very uncharacteristically slow start in 2022, with a 3-4 record through seven weeks, and although it's not the biggest story around the franchise, the drama surrounding Cam Akers and his situation with the Rams is still yet to be resolved. There have reportedly been some teams interested, but no one has taken the Rams up on an offer yet, and with just a few days before the trade deadline, they already have their eye on his replacement, as reports are coming out that Los Angeles are looking into a deal with the Cleveland Browns for Kareem Hunt.

Hunt primarily serves as the backup in Cleveland to arguably the best back in the game in Nick Chubb, but in LA, would be given a much bigger role, and the combo of Darrell Henderson and Hunt would be a formidable duo indeed. Through seven games in 2022, Hunt has exactly 350 all purpose yards to pair with 4 Touchdown's, and would be a perfect compliment to a talented, yet underperforming offence in Los Angeles.

Reportedly, it would take at least a fourth round pick to get Hunt, and if the Rams believe that's enough to get their second Super Bowl in as many years, they will likely do it, because with all the picks they've already traded away, they have made it clear what their intentions are, and Hunt would help them achieve those goals.
