Raiders Wide Receiver Misses Another Practice With Illness

Coming out of their bye week, the Las Vegas Raiders needed a big win to reinvigorate their season after starting just 1-4, and with a big win over the Texans, they can now look to build momentum over the coming weeks, as there could likely be an AFC Wild Card spot up for grabs later in the season if they can continue to play well.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, they have had problems all season long with this Pro Bowl cast of weapons staying healthy, and that appears to be the case again ahead of a crucial Week 8 matchup with the New Orleans Saints, as All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, and hasn't been sighted on Thursday either. He is good enough and experienced enough to get into a game on Sunday without practicing all week, but it's not a good sign for this team, as they have barely been able to feature Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller on the field at the same time in 2022.

Depending on the illness, Adams could be in jeopardy of missing the Week 8 matchup, but with two days in between now and the game, it's likely that he can recover in time and line up on the outside as Las Vegas look to turn their season around.
